Since Monica broke up with Richard, she has done nothing but wander around aimlessly, so Phoebe tries to help her find peace of mind. Joey makes it clear to Chandler that he can't stand Janice, so when Janice hears about it she organises 'Joey and Janice's Day Of Fun'. Ross shares his fantasy with Rachel.

Frank announces that he's going to get married - to his home economics teacher. Phoebe does everything she can to stop them. Monica meets a guy at the diner whom she finds charming, but not attractive. She later discovers he's a millionaire, and that changes the opinion of her and of her friends, especially Rachel.

Pete and Monica are now dating, but Monica says she still doesn't find him attractive. Joey has problems with a fiery actress, and won't stop bitching about her. Chandler points out that Joey may have a crush on her.

Joey is still having problems with Kate, but he can't turn to Chandler for help, because he is trying to get away from Rachel's boss, Joanna, with whom he has a thing about saying he'll call her when he won't.

Ross is going to appear on the Discovery Channel, but when he sees how badly Rachel is hurt, he cancels and takes her to the hospital instead. Joey buys Chandler a fluffy chick.

Ross is screamed at by Rachel's date, a pyschotic guy, but no one will believe him because they think he's jealous. Joey is beginning to fall in love with Kate, but she is leaving to get a better acting job. In the performance, he says his lines to her, in the wings. Phoebe's phone has broken, and it's warrenty expires the next day, so she waits for two days listening to a recorded voice telling her she is the next in line. When she finally hangs up, she breaks Monica's phone!

Phoebe sets Ross up with a girl who Rachel thinks is still bald, but when she finds out that she isn't, she begins to get a bit jealous.

Rachel starts majorly flirting with Ross, only to see Bonnie walk in the door. Phoebe decides to look up her mother's best friend in high school, who was also called Phoebe, but Phoebe Sr. won't tell her anything about her parents. Phoebe sneaks into the house at night and hunts around, but Phoebe Sr. catches her she demands the information. Phoebe Sr. then tells her that she is her birth mother. Chandler is upset because Monica doesn't think that he's boyfriend material.
